Toronto Arya Samaj/Vedic Cultural Centre is proud to present a musical concert, Sangeetanjali, on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at its venue, 4345-14th Avenue, Markham, ON starting at 5pm featuring an All-Female Band. It is a ticketed event, $20 for adults, $10 for kids 6-12, and under 5 free. The response so far has been great. This show is a one-of-a-kind presentation as for the first time an All-Female Cast will be performing. The Sangeetanjali group will be led by talented musician and keyboard player, Anisa Dhar, who is a lead member of the popular Aakash Vani Band. Anisa will be accompanied by a huge cast of talented singers and musicians including Neetu Rambharak, The Singh Sisters, Manisha Choudhry, Nanda Ramoutar, Priya Ramoutar, Olivia Kumar, Amy Rambir, Emily Sanasie, Aruna Paul, Anisa Mahadeo, Aleesha Mahadeo, Aryana Mahadeo, Haimshani Sharma, Ramona Sylvan and Darshini Sanichar among others. The young ladies will be displaying their skills on the keyboards, harmonium, tablas, dholak and all the accompanying percussions that make up a band.
STCC Dance Academy will also be providing beautiful dance items. Sound engineers Kevin Dhar and Sudesh Siewkumar will be taking care of the sound system to ensure the best audio. Emcees for the show will be the dashing Anantha Sriram and Natasha Prasad.
This event is the brainchild of popular music teacher and Purohit, Pt Dave Ramoutar and his family who have put in tremendous work to ensure a seamless program.
A cash food booth will be available with mouth-watering meals and snacks. All proceeds from the show will go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the Arya Samaj Mandir/Vedic Cultural Centre. Donations can also be made online at TAS@torontoaryasamaj.org. Tax-deductible receipts will be issued.
