Dear TAS Members, Namaste. We hope this message finds you well.
On behalf of the newly elected Board of Executives of TAS, we extend our sincere gratitude to all who attended and participated in the Annual General Meeting and Elections held on April 27, 2025. We are also deeply appreciative of those who ensured their voices were heard by submitting proxies in support of the process.

Your encouragement, thoughtful words, and continued resilience played a vital role in the success of our AGM and elections. Despite some regrettable disruptions during the proceedings by Anand Rupnarain, Sachin Muttoo and Satyanand Sarju , who ensured that we were greeted
by several Police Officers to sabotage the AGM and Elections,  the members present remained focused, stood up strong in unity, and committed to conducting a fair, transparent and democratic process in accordance with the TAS Constitution. This was fully accomplished! We are proud to have upheld the principles of integrity and member representation, ensuring that leadership is chosen by the collective will of the membership, rather than by arbitrary appointment.
Thank you once again for standing with us. Your support strengthens our unity and inspires our continued dedication to serving TAS with transparency and respect.

Be assured that we will continue to move forward in strength and unity to sustain our mandir, and look forward to supporting the growth and sustainability of our mandir by welcoming and supporting the development of a younger and more forward-thinking generation very soon. Thank you again for being such independent thinking members, who voted with your intellect and your hearts.

We thank our esteemed Returning Officer, Bhai Jai Singh, his assistant Abeir Liton and our scrutineer, Peter Deboran, for managing the election process according to protocol, followed all the rules and kept the process legal and smooth.

There were 51 members present and the Returning Officer confirmed 28 legitimate proxies, that’s a total of 79 voters out of 202 eligible voters, it represents 39.10 %, an unquestionable quorum. As there were only 9 candidates, it was unanimously agreed to acclaim all 9 to the board.
Your new board for April 2025 to April 2026 is as follows:

  1. Bhai Adit Kumar
  2. Bhai Satish Sharma
  3. Bhai Vic Singh
